By using the Urban Proto app you agree to these terms.
Urban Proto lets you set up, monitor, and control compatible Urban Proto smart-home devices, and share access with people you choose. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
Do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or access devices you are not authorised to control.
Urban Proto devices switch mains-voltage electrical circuits and must be installed by a licensed, qualified electrician in accordance with local wiring regulations. Do not install, open, or wire a device with the power on. The app can switch connected loads remotely, so ensure any connected appliance is safe to be turned on or off while unattended. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for injury, fire, or property damage arising from incorrect installation, unsafe wiring, or misuse of the hardware.
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Smart-home control depends on your devices, network, and power.
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app or devices.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached or the service is misused. On termination, your profile and sessions are removed and your devices are unlinked.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mangaluru, Karnataka.
We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the changes.
